Slow Updates
Sorry about that. It has been such a busy week and I had a lot to do for the water fight and open day. We will have more updates this week.
This week all groups will be working in the new 2.1 book. The high group is getting close to the 2.2. book and I hope they will get there by the end of this year.

Spelling Grades. Abdel-Rahman and Next Week's Reading
I hope everyone is practicing their song. The spelling tests were harder this week but there were still a lot of students who did very well. One student in particular deserves praise.
Abdelrahman is new to our class and not only did he get the highest score this week and last of all the second graders, he beat ll but five third graders. Great job A.R.
This week we welcomed Basel to class and he is doing well also.
I will put the full list of spelling test As on the blog tomorrow.
This week the second grade group will read:
Franny and Ginny
Poppleton
The Duck
The third grade old 2.1 group will read:
The Little Bikers
Play Ball
House Repairs
The Surprise
The third grade new 2.1 group will read:
Tara and Tiree
Turkey's Thanksgiving
