3A homework today.

Your homework today is on irregular plural nouns.
You have to change all the words into the plural.
Most of the answers are in the worksheet I gave you, so look through it carefully.

For Science, only do the first page.
It is very easy and will only take you 5 minutes or less.

Enjoy your day!

This week in 4A

Hi 4A,

Are you all excited for your new English schedule?
Your spelling test words for the week are:

Started, smiled, cried, planned, hoped, fried, hopped, singing, laughing, clapping,
Kicked, played, shopped, swimming, finished, walking, having, painting, drawing.

Your homework tonight is writing down the meanings for all your spelling words.

Today we did an exercise where we changed words(verbs) to the past tense
and present continuous tense. e.g. start = started = starting.
If you did not complete your worksheet in class, please make sure you do it as your homework. For those of you who did your Superfudge and Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing chapter questions and description questions, thank you. For those of you who did not do you your homework over the weekend, please do not forget you have to do it tomorrow.

Today my group finished the story "American Pepper" and started a story called "Beautiful day, Isn't It?" We will continue reading it on Tuesday and will answer the questions and write our ppinion pieces. I hope you enjoyed reading American Pepper and will like this story too.

Happy Valentines Day 3A < 3

Today we received our new spelling test words for the week. They are:
came, made, main, Friday, shape, tray, agree, meal, deal, time, kite, hold, told, phone.

Remeber you have to write the meanings for all the words for your homework.

Students continued answering questions on Baby Dinosaurs and on Tuesday we will start a new story. Group 1 and 2 will read Chompy's Afternoon, and Group 2 and 3 will read Eye Spy.

Last week we learned about regular plural nouns. e.g. pen = pens, apple = apples, couch = couches. Students learned that, for most plural nouns, we just add s or es. Those are called regular nouns. Tomorrow students will learn about irregular plural nouns.

Almost all of 3A did their homework from Thursday so I am very happy! :D
