Last week we had late notice on a field trip that would take place on a Thursday 11th March, and so students were told on Tuesday that their weekly spelling test would take place on Wednesday. Some students were not prepared, and so the test was retaken on Sunday by those who wished to. 4A, the spelling words are not be memorised the night before so you have 20/20 on your test, but to be able to use those words in everyday speech and writing. I hope you can make an effort to start using them.
We have been focusing a lot on synonyms and antonyms these past few days, as they are vital to speaking and communicating effectively. Use these words, and your language skills will improve dramatically.
Superfudge readers have completed their book and soon Tales of a fourth grade nothing students will complete their books too. We are in the process of receiving more Judy Blume books, that I am sure you will love! In the meantime we will start some short stories, focusing on international culture and general knowledge.
